Our premier client in Racine, WI, is launching a brand-new location and seeking an experienced Quality Manager to champion their quality department. This is a high-impact, direct-hire leadership role where you will establish, maintain, and elevate quality systems from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities
- System Management: Establish, maintain, and continuously improve quality systems to guarantee total product and component compliance.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure strict adherence to ISO 9001 and BRC regulatory standards.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and develop departmental personnel, fostering a culture of accountability and precision.
- Operations Oversight: Oversee daily inspection processes and drive robust supplier quality management programs.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead root-cause analysis and corrective/preventative action (CAPA) initiatives to minimize waste and optimize production.
- Industry Expertise: background in Quality Assurance specifically within injection molded plastics is highly preferred.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Deep familiarity with ISO 9001 and BRC certification standards.
- Leadership Experience: Proven supervisory/management experience with a knack for building and leading high-performing teams.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate across manufacturing teams and with corporate leadership.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Establish inspection processes for manufactured and purchased products
- Define in-process and final inspection requirements
- Maintain statistical quality data and analyze for process improvements
- Conduct internal audits for compliance with quality plans
- Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective actions
- Manage returned goods and determine disposition
- Establish vendor quality standards and evaluate supplier performance
- Train personnel on quality procedures and ensure consistency
- Evaluate new products, processes, and equipment for quality impact
- Disposition non-conforming materials
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and BRC standards
- Implement preventive actions to reduce defects
- Perform other duties as required
