Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, install, and replace glass for windows, doors, mirrors, storefronts, and other applications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings.
- Install aluminum frames, glazing systems, and related hardware.
- Remove broken or damaged glass safely and efficiently.
- Apply sealants, weatherproofing, and finishing materials.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and glass-handling equipment safely.
- Follow all workplace safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Provide professional customer service while working on-site.
- Previous experience as a glazier or in a related construction trade.
- Knowledgeof glass installation techniques and glazing systems.
- Ability to read blueprints and accurately measure materials.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy glass materials safely.
- Comfortable working at heights using ladders, scaffolding, or lifts.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
- OSHA safety training is an asset.
