Responsibilities
- Operate specialized cutter grinding equipment to sharpen, profile, and recondition end mills, custom drills, inserts, and reamers according to technical specs.
- Set up machinery parameters including selecting exact wheels, securing profiles, and adjusting wheel speeds, depths, and feeds.
- Use optical comparators, micrometers, and calipers to measure tools for wear, damage, or design deviation.
- Log tooling metrics, grinding parameters, and tracking sheets for traceability compliance.
