Responsibilities
1. Assembly & Hands-On Production
- Line Assembly: Putting together components manually or using hand tools (e.g., drills, screwdrivers, riveting guns) according to precise blueprints or schematics.
- Material Prep: Feeding raw materials or sub-assemblies into production machinery and assembly lines to keep the workflow moving continuously.
- Packaging: Wrapping, boxing, labeling, and palletizing finished products so they are secure and ready for shipping.
- Visual Inspections: Constantly checking products as they pass by to look for defects, scratches, or missing components.
- Measurement Verification: Using calipers, micrometers, or digital scales to ensure the finished parts meet exact engineering tolerances.
- Defect Segregation: Immediately pulling faulty or out-of-spec products off the line and logging them into a scrap or rework system.
- PPE Adherence: Consistently wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) like steel-toed boots, safety glasses, earplugs, and high-visibility vests.
- 5S & Cleanliness: Keeping the immediate workstation sweeped, organized, and free of trip hazards to maintain an efficient facility layout.
