Compensation & Shift
- Pay: $30.00 - $37.00 / hour (Based on experience)
- Shift: 1st Shift | Mon – Fri | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (40 hours/week)
- Environment: Clean and fully climate-controlled
We are open on exact experience levels, but you must have a solid foundation in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting. We will help you grow into advanced automation, but you must be ready to hit the ground running with the basics.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot injection molding machines and automation systems (servos, sensors, Wittmann robots, control components).
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical failures; read blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Execute the preventative maintenance program and log work orders.
- Partner with production staff to optimize machine performance.
- Molding Background: Prior experience working molding machines so you understand how they operate.
- Troubleshooting: Solid electrical troubleshooting skills. Hydraulic experience is a plus.
- Automation/Robotics: Experience with robots/ robotic systems(Wittmann) and Vision Systems is a major plus.

Responsibilities
- Molding & Automation Maintenance: Install, maintain, and troubleshoot injection molding machines and automation systems (servos, sensors, 6-axis Wittmann robots, and control components).
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical machine failures. Interpret diagrams, electrical schematics, blueprints, and operations manuals.
- Preventative Maintenance: Maintain and execute the facility’s preventative maintenance program to ensure maximum machine uptime; log equipment usage, parts replacement, and work orders.
- Production Collaboration: Partner with production staff to analyze inconsistent machine performance, conduct performance testing, and optimize automation capabilities.
- Safety & Organization: Operate all tools and equipment in strict accordance with safety rules; assist with daily housekeeping and maintaining a clean work environment.
