What You Will Do (Core Responsibilities)
- Keep Production Moving: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on specialized manufacturing machinery, including motors, mixers, fillers, cappers, and pneumatic systems.
- Troubleshoot & Repair: Rapidly diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation issues to minimize downtime.
- Maintain Facilities: Oversee core building infrastructure, including HVAC, plumbing, industrial wiring, boilers, and chemical piping systems.
- Champion Safety: Strictly adhere to OSHA and EPA regulations, utilizing Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Confined Space protocols, and proper PPE at all times.
- Inspect & Document: Conduct routine safety inspections, log activities in our maintenance tracking system, and ensure all tools remain calibrated and safe.
- Experience: 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience (chemical, processing, or heavy manufacturing environment preferred).
- Technical Skills: strong working knowledge of pumps, valves, industrial wiring, and pneumatics. Ability to read schematics and P&IDs is a major plus.
- Safety First: Deep understanding of hazardous materials handling, LOTO, and safe equipment operation (forklifts, cranes).
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent; technical trade certification is highly preferred.
- Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, work at heights, and comfortably wear required PPE (including respirators when necessary).

- Facilities Upkeep: Maintain core facility infrastructure, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical wiring, boilers, air compressors, and chemical transfer piping.
- Safety & Regulatory Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA, EPA, and facility EH&S protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Confined Space Entry, and proper handling of hazardous materials.
- Heavy Equipment Operation: Safely operate material handling and lifting machinery such as forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and drum lifters.
- Inspections & Risk Mitigation: Conduct routine building and equipment inspections to proactively identify leaks, wear, or safety hazards, taking swift corrective action.
- Documentation & Reporting: Accurately log all maintenance activities, repairs, and calibration data to support compliance records and audit readiness.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Engineering, Operations, and EHS teams to execute equipment installations, upgrades, and reliability improvements.
