Responsibilities
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on CNC machines (mills, lathes, grinders,
multitasking machines) as well as other production equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair CNC controls, electrical systems, servos, drives, PLCs, and HMIs
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues to minimize downtime
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals
• Work with CNC control systems such as Fanuc, Siemens, Mazatrol, or similar
• Support machine installations, upgrades, retrofits, and commissioning
• Calibrate machines and perform alignments (ballbar, laser, backlash adjustments, etc.)
• Maintain documentation for maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to improve equipment reliability
• Ensure compliance with safety, OSHA, and company maintenance standards
• Assist with root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain spare parts inventory and recommend critical spares
The essential functions of this role include:
