Responsibilities
- Machine Set-Up & Operation: Set up parts on grinding machines and follow established work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Blueprint Reading: Read technical drawings and blueprints to determine precise tolerances and dimensions for ground components.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect finished parts for quality compliance, troubleshoot grinder performance, and make necessary adjustments.
- Maintenance & Cleanliness: Perform routine preventive maintenance and keep equipment and machining areas clean, safe, and orderly.
- Documentation: Ensure job process sheets (travelers) are signed, accurate, and completely up to date.
