Key Responsibilities
Freight & Stocking
- Transport & Unload: Move pallets and carts from the backroom to assigned aisles.
- Restock Shelves: Fill shelves accurately according to modular maps, verifying UPCs and tags.
- Rotate Stock: Apply FIFO (First In, First Out) to ensure older product is sold first.
- Scan & Log: Use handheld devices to scan items, check pricing, and process overstock.
- Backroom Binning: Properly tag overstock and organize items onto backroom steel shelves.
- Zone Aisles: Pull products forward and align boxes for a clean, full appearance.
- Maintain Safety: Break down cardboard, bale trash, sweep aisles, and keep walkways hazard-free.
- Manage Claims: Dispose of damaged or expired goods according to store guidelines.
