Key Responsibilities
- Order Preparation: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders according to specific requirements and quality standards.
- Shipping & Systems: Utilize shipping software to generate accurate labels, packing slips, and tracking documentation.
- Quality Assurance: Verify order accuracy prior to shipment and inspect products for defects, reporting any discrepancies to management.
- Loading & Handling: Safely load shipments onto trucks or pallets using proper techniques to prevent product damage.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, hand trucks, scanners, VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) vertical forklifts, and Dock Stocker forklifts.
- Inventory & Safety: Assist with inventory/cycle counts and stock replenishment while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized workspace.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
- strong attention to detail and solid organizational skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout an 8-hour shift.
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented with a strong work ethic.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, shipping, or logistics role.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with shipping platforms (FedEx, UPS, USPS, etc.).
- Prior experience operating VNA vertical forklifts or Dock Stocker forklifts.
- Dynamic, fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Hands-on operation with material handling equipment, forklifts, and RF scanners.
