Responsibilities
- Perform high-level mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting on specialized manufacturing equipment (e.g., tempering machines, molding lines, enrobers, wrapping, and high-speed packaging equipment).
- Diagnose and repair mechanical breakdowns rapidly during production runs to minimize downtime and maintain target
- Execute precision mechanical work, including gearboxes, drive belts, chains, pumps, bearings, and line alignments.
- Execute daily, weekly, and monthly Preventive & Predictive Maintenance (PM) schedules to maximize equipment uptime.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work orders, spare parts inventory, and machine histories using the facility’s CMMS system.
- Keep spare parts inventory stocked, organized, and staged for routine servicing.
- Perform routine monitoring and basic troubleshooting on plant utility systems, including industrial refrigeration, compressed air, HVAC, boilers, and plumbing systems essential to chocolate temperature control.
