As a Journeyman Electrician, you'll be a key player on our Maintenance team-keeping our facility running safely, smoothly, and efficiently. Are you looking to learn from, and eventually become a master electrician? Are you looking to avoid driving for hours between jobs or sites? If so, this position is for you! You'll train with a Master Electrician, have no travel outside Saint Louis Park, and no mandatory OT.
This isn't a repetitive, same‑thing‑every‑day job. If you're an electrician who thrives on variety, problem‑solving, and hands-on technical work, you'll feel right at home here. You'll diagnose and repair a wide range of electrical systems, respond to real‑time issues on the floor, and support continuous improvement across our operations. Working alongside our Master Electrician, Maintenance team, and Production staff, you'll help reduce downtime, improve reliability, and support overall operational goals.
What you'll bring to the role:
- A valid Minnesota Class A Journeyman Electrician License
- 2+ years of experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Proven skills working with switchboards, junction boxes, switches, control panels, components, circuit breakers, motors and wiring.
- Experience working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), switchgears, infrared survey, and high voltage (up to 138kV) is a plus.
- Knowledge of UL Listing/Certification is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, comfortable communicating and working with others.

Responsibilities
- Apply knowledge of current electrical codes and industry best practices.
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain a variety of electrical equipment such as control panels, switchboards, junction boxes, conduit, equipment control devices, and other electrical equipment as assigned.
- Test and ensure compatibility and safety of all circuits, components, switches, controls, and other electrical equipment as assigned.
- Install and repair control panels and wire and or repair lighting systems, install circuit breakers, replace motors and other production equipment drive related components, and perform troubleshooting duties.
- Make repairs to production equipment and electrical components such as motors, and starting and control devices, or other faulty components.
- Utilize wiring diagrams to diagnose electrical problems and to plan and establish safe work procedures
- Support the Master Electrician and manager by assisting with bid preparation on projects from outside vendors or contractors.
