About the Opportunity: We are partnering with a premier, high-growth contract manufacturer in the Charlotte area to identify highly skilled Electronics Assemblers. If you have a steady hand, an eye for detail, and experience working in a high-mix electronics manufacturing environment, we want to hear from you. This is not a standard warehouse assembly role—you will be working with complex Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs), technical blueprints, and delicate electro-mechanical components that power critical technologies.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in electro-mechanical or PCB assembly within a manufacturing environment.
- Technical Skills: Proven experience with hand soldering (SMT and through-hole); ability to read schematics and engineering drawings.
- Certifications: Active or prior IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001 certification is highly preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Excellent manual dexterity, vision (with or without correction) for close-up microscope work, and a commitment to producing defect-free work.
- Team Player: strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with quality and engineering teams to resolve production issues.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Precision Assembly: Perform intricate mechanical and electronic assembly of PCBs, wiring harnesses, and sub-assemblies according to precise customer specifications.
- Soldering & Rework: Perform fine-pitch soldering, through-hole, and surface mount technology (SMT) component installation and rework under a microscope.
- Blueprint Navigation: Read, interpret, and follow complex schematics, technical drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and work instructions.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect finished products to ensure they meet strict industry standards (such as IPC-A-610) and client quality metrics.
- Tool Operation: Utilize a variety of hand tools, power tools, crimpers, wire strippers, and testing equipment safely and effectively.
