What You’ll Do
- Build: Put together quality parts using blueprints, hand tools, and equipment.
- Inspect: Spot defects and make sure every finished product hits the mark.
- Maintain: Keep your workspace clean, safe, and ready to roll.
- Great manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to read basic technical drawings or follow work instructions.
- Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.

salary: $20 - $25 per hour

Responsibilities
- Component Assembly: Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, or work instructions to correctly assemble parts using hand tools, power tools, or specialized machinery.
- Quality Inspection: Visually inspect incoming parts and finished products for defects, flaws, or deviations from specified tolerances. Ensure all outputs meet quality standards.
- Equipment Operation & Maintenance: Safely operate assembly tools (e.g., soldering irons, drill presses, torque wrenches, pneumatic tools) and perform routine basic maintenance on tools and equipment.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to company safety protocols, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements, and OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Testing & Troubleshooting: Conduct basic functional tests on completed units to ensure proper performance, identifying and reporting non-conforming or defective items to supervisors.
- Inventory & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of production counts, track defective parts, and monitor inventory levels at the work station to prevent production delays.
