Responsibilities
- Operations & Leadership: Direct plant operations (production, scheduling, inventory, maintenance, logistics), lead cross-functional teams, and provide hands-on coaching to personnel.
- Continuous Improvement: Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, 5 Why, and root-cause analysis to eliminate inefficiencies, reduce waste, scrap, labor costs, and downtime.
- KPIs & Delivery: Monitor and improve safety, quality, labor, productivity, cost, and on-time delivery metrics.
- Team & Culture: Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing staff while holding teams accountable and fostering a safe, injury-free, and clean work environment.
- Cross-Department & Strategy: Partner with Quality, Sales, Engineering, Finance, and Supply Chain to resolve issues and provide strategic advice to executive leadership regarding capacity and equipment.
- Resource & Financial Management: Oversee plant budgets, resources, labor expenditures, and vendor/supplier relations to meet profitability goals.
