Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities
- Program Leadership: Develop, manage, and execute the facility's Master Sanitation Program to ensure compliance with HACCP and cGMP standards.
- Team Supervision: Schedule, train, and coordinate sanitation staff; evaluate performance and drive workflow efficiency.
- Safety & Quality Audits: Conduct regular plant inspections to proactively address safety risks, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work alongside department leaders to gather feedback and refine sanitation procedures.
- Equipment & Improvement: Evaluate tools, develop capital investment requests for new equipment, and implement continuous improvements.
- Language Requirement: Fluent in Spanish (must speak Spanish fluently).
- Education & Experience: College degree OR 1–3 years of experience supervising sanitation in a plant or manufacturing setting (or equivalent combination).
- Technical Certifications: Knowledge of HACCP, cGMP, and plant safety regulations required.
- Software Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and inventory/maintenance management software (e.g., MP2).
- Problem-Solving & Math: Solid basic math skills (rates, percentages, simple metrics) and strong analytical reasoning abilities.
