Position Summary
Randstad is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to join CUCS overseeing clinical programming at The Times Square site (255 W. 43rd Street, Midtown Manhattan). Serving 650 low-income and formerly homeless individuals—many with mental illness, HIV/AIDS, or substance use histories—this role leads a team of 1 clinician and 4 case managers. The supervisor oversees person-centered care using evidence-based practices (Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Informed Care) to ensure program excellence and client self-sufficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Supervision: Lead day-to-day operations and supervise a team managing caseloads of ~15 formerly street-homeless individuals per staff.
- Compliance & Intake: Maintain contractual obligations, coordinate intakes, manage outreach referrals, and ensure staffing coverage.
- Site Safety: Partner with property management and security on facility maintenance and building safety.
- On-Call Support: Participate in an evening and weekend on-call rotation for emergency clinical support.
- Education: Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, MFT, Public Administration, Public Health, Psychology, or related field required.
- Experience: 2+ years of post-graduate experience in human services, supportive housing, or behavioral health with street-homeless populations.
- Licensure: Active NY licensure or permit (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT) preferred.
- Core Competencies: clinical assessment, crisis intervention, team leadership, and trauma-informed care skills.
- Time Off: 17 days PTO (1st year), 10 sick days, 3 personal days, and 12 paid holidays.

Responsibilities
- Clinical & Operational Supervision: Direct day-to-day operations of the clinical housing team and physical sites, providing clinical oversight and administrative direction to a licensed social worker and four case managers.
- Program Management & Compliance: Ensure program alignment with contractual obligations, organizational standards, funding requirements, and continuous quality improvement goals.
- Intake & Staffing: Oversee referral reviews from outreach teams, coordinate client intake processes, and maintain proper staffing levels to guarantee continuous service delivery.
- Site Management & Safety: Collaborate closely with property management and security personnel to manage building maintenance, environmental safety, and overall facility operations.
- Emergency Coverage: Participate in an on-call rotational schedule to provide administrative and clinical emergency support during evening and weekend hours.
