Responsibilities

Role Overview:
Inspects raw materials, in-process components, and finished fittings (brass, bronze, stainless steel) to ensure compliance with blueprints, customer specifications, and dimensional tolerances.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspection & Verification: Perform first-article, in-process, and final inspections on CNC and screw-machine parts using optical comparators, calipers, micrometers, thread pitch/height/gauge tools, and leak testing equipment.
  
  
• Non-Conformance Management: Tag, log, and quarantine defective parts to prevent non-compliant stock from shipping.
  
  
• Documentation & Compliance: Complete digital inspection logs, First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs), and Certificates of Analysis (COAs).
  
  
• Continuous Improvement: Partner with machinists and quality management on root-cause analysis (CAPA) to eliminate recurring defect trends.
