Responsibilities
- Conduct first-piece, in-process, and final inspections, as well as critical dimension and visual checks on incoming raw materials and finished products
- Utilize calipers, metric tapes, gauges, and precision instruments
- Enter and maintain inspection data in SAP; generate and process Non-Conforming Material Reports (NMRs); disposition rejected materials; maintain and archive official quality records.
- Participate in root cause investigations, Corrective/Preventive Action (CAPA) activities, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Serve as a subject-matter expert to Production, Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to resolve quality issues and support internal audits.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specs, and tolerances; hands-on expertise with precision measuring equipment.
- Strong mathematical aptitude, problem-solving capabilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Hands-on experience with SAP or equivalent enterprise ERP software.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9000 quality management standards.
