What You’ll Do:

• Drive a mobile laboratory van directly to client facilities to perform precision calibrations, maintenance, and tool repairs.
• Service a wide range of gear, including manual, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electric torque multipliers, pressure gauges, calipers, and micrometers.
• Work independently in the field to manage tool counts, maintain van safety/cleanliness, and keep standards up to date.
• Input service tickets and calibration data using specialized management software.
• Build great relationships with clients, offer basic safety tips, and spot opportunities for tooling upgrades.

What We’re Looking For:

• Travel Ready: Ability to travel for 2 weeks at a time on the road.
• Autonomy: Proven capability to work independently with high attention to detail.
• Experience: 1–3 years of mechanical or technical work experience (calibration, PMEL, or military metrology background is a major plus!).
• Requirements: High School Diploma, valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record, and ability to pass DISA-compliant background checks.

Role Summary Drive a mobile laboratory to client sites to calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, dimensional, pressure, and electrical tools (torque wrenches, gauges, calipers, micrometers).

Key Responsibilities

• Perform precision calibrations and tool repairs following quality procedures.
  
  
• Maintain and clean mobile lab equipment, ensuring standards are up to date.
  
  
• Log results in TorqueWare software and complete service tickets.
  
  
• Deliver strong customer service, basic safety guidance, and identify cross-sell needs.
  
  

Qualifications

• 1–3 years technical/mechanical experience; HS diploma.
  
  
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and clean background (DISA compliant).
  
  
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., lift 20 lbs. repeatedly, and stand 4+ hours/day.
  
  
• Proficient in MS Excel and Outlook.
  
  
• Preferred: Calibration/PMEL/military background or ISO standard knowledge.
