Responsibilities
- Interpret Specifications: Read blueprints, drawings, and engineering data to plan fabrication sequences and work procedures.
- Setup & Operate Equipment: Select, align, and secure tooling, fixtures, and materials on metalworking machines, adjusting manual controls or editing CNC programs.
- Fabricate & Machine Parts: Cut, shape, assemble, and modify metal parts, tooling, and assemblies to exact specifications.
- Inspect & Verify Quality: Perform layouts and verify part dimensions using precision measuring instruments, trigonometry, and advanced inspection tech to fix defects.
- Maintain & Troubleshoot: Monitor machinery to diagnose malfunctions and determine necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Collaborate: Partner with engineering, supervisory, and manufacturing teams to exchange technical information.
