Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise 3rd shift production operations, ensuring daily production goals are met.
- Manage, coach, and develop production employees while fostering a positive, accountable team environment.
- Monitor production schedules, staffing, workflow, and productivity.
- Ensure all products meet Tate’s quality, consistency, and food-safety standards.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, GMPs, HACCP requirements, and applicable food-safety regulations.
- Troubleshoot production issues and work closely with Maintenance, Quality Assurance, Warehouse, and other departments to resolve problems quickly.
- Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance needs to minimize downtime.
- Review production reports, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure proper sanitation, organization, and housekeeping throughout the production facility.
- Train team members on safety, quality, production procedures, and company expectations.
- Communicate shift performance, issues, and priorities effectively to leadership and incoming/outgoing shifts.
