We are seeking a skilled and dependable CNC Swiss Lathe Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate has experience operating CNC Swiss-type lathes, understands precision machining, and takes pride in producing high-quality parts.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC Swiss-type lathes to manufacture precision components according to blueprints and specifications.
- Load programs, tooling, and raw materials and make necessary machine offsets and adjustments.
- Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring equipment.
- Monitor machine operation, troubleshoot production issues, and make adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow all company safety, quality, and production procedures.
- Previous experience operating CNC Swiss lathes preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints.
- Knowledge of CNC machining processes, tooling, and cutting conditions.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to troubleshoot and make machine adjustments.
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
