We are seeking a Heavy Commercial HVAC and Combustion Service Technician to perform startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of large commercial and industrial heating and cooling equipment nationwide.

What the Role Looks Like
- Field Travel Schedule: Travel to customer facilities across the U.S. with typical departures on Monday and returns on Friday. Weekend travel is rare, but extended workdays and overtime during the week are common.
- System Diagnostics & Repair: Diagnose and repair commercial and industrial chillers, heat pumps, hydronic systems, process-temperature equipment, and industrial burners.
- Refrigeration & Hydronic Troubleshooting: Evaluate refrigeration circuits (compressors, expansion valves, heat exchangers) and hydronic systems (pumps, valves, strainers, temperature controls).
- Performance Testing: Assess performance using pressure, temperature, superheat, subcooling, amperage, and flow data.
- Field Service Operations: Perform leak detection, refrigerant recovery, system charging, component replacements, preventative maintenance, and equipment commissioning.
- Hands-on experience in heavy commercial HVAC, industrial refrigeration, boilers, or industrial combustion systems.
- Proven skills in troubleshooting refrigeration circuits, hydronic systems, and electrical/control systems.
- Ability to work independently at customer facilities, read schematics, and complete detailed electronic service reports.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently overnight Monday through Friday.
- EPA Section 608 Universal Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

This is a traveling field-service position supporting equipment installed at customer facilities throughout the United States. Field assignments frequently require technicians to leave on Monday and return on Friday. Overtime and extended workdays are common while traveling. Remaining out of town over the weekend is limited, although occasional weekend work or travel may be required based on customer or service needs.
