In this role, you will perform advanced dimensional inspections on high-precision components during receiving, in-process, and final production stages. If you bring a strong background in GD&T, AS9100/AS9102 standards, and hands-on precision measurement experience, we want to hear from you.
Note: Prior experience with portable CMMs (Romer Arm) or Verisurf software is a huge plus, but on-the-job training is available for inspectors with strong foundational skill sets.

Responsibilities
- Precision Inspection: Conduct thorough dimensional inspections of components and assemblies using advanced metrology tools (Romer Arm) alongside standard precision instruments (micrometers, calipers, height gauges).
- First Article Inspection (FAI): Execute and document comprehensive First Article Inspections strictly adhering to AS9102 guidelines.
- Process & Surface Verification: Verify protective coatings, surface finishes, and special processing against engineering drawings and spec sheets.
- Nonconformance & Quality Control: Identify, document, and segregate non-conforming materials to maintain total product traceability.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with machinists, quality engineers, and production staff to address quality discrepancies and evaluate workmanship standards.
- Equipment Compliance: Ensure all inspection gauges and precision tooling are fully calibrated and compliant prior to use.
- Operational Standards: Maintain 5S, safety protocols, and continuous improvement initiatives across the inspection station.
