Responsibilities
- Disposition material (lots/wafers) by investigating and evaluating defect failures at various inspection steps inline.
- Create/Write Out of Control (OOC) Reports to document and communicate evaluated defect failures.
- If necessary per SOP, reporting may involve recommending wafer scrap to associated process groups/owners.
- If necessary per SOP, DC Techs will shut down equipment suspected to be causing evaluated defect failures.
- Monitor inventory levels and skip (release) non-suspect material as needed.
- Evaluate data submitted by process groups/owners to close defect events and release equipment back to production.
- DC Process Technicians will be trained to utilize various software systems, tools, and apps to fulfill job duties.
