Randstad is currently hiring an experienced Warehouse / Forklift Operator for an established Long Island manufacturer. We are looking for someone who can handle the full warehouse process — receiving materials, maintaining inventory, operating a forklift, and preparing outgoing shipments.
Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down forklifts and material handling equipment
- Load and unload trucks and incoming/outgoing shipments
- Perform shipping and receiving duties
- Receive, inspect, verify, and properly store incoming materials
- Pick, pack, stage, and prepare orders for shipment
- Maintain accurate inventory and assist with cycle counts
- Move materials between warehouse and production areas
- Verify part numbers, quantities, labels, and shipping paperwork
- Palletize, wrap, label, and prepare outgoing freight
- Maintain organized warehouse and storage locations
- Document inventory and material movement accurately
- Follow all forklift, warehouse, quality, and safety procedures
- Previous warehouse experience required
- Forklift experience required
- Shipping and receiving experience
- Inventory control experience
- Experience picking, packing, and staging orders
- Ability to accurately track parts and quantities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing/warehouse environment
- Reliable with attention to detail
salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year

- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and physical inventory.

- Organize and maintain warehouse stock and storage locations.
- Assist with order fulfillment, palletizing, wrapping, and labeling.
- Use inventory/warehouse systems to document material movement as required.
- Follow all warehouse, forklift, quality, and safety procedures.
