Role Overview Randstad is hiring a Field Service Technician for an international industrial automation leader. You will handle on-site installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of specialized automated systems and production lines.
Travel Expectation
- Extensive Regional Travel: High-frequency travel across the USA, Mexico, and Canada is required for system start-ups and emergency repairs. Candidates must possess a valid passport and full flexibility for travel.
- Execute mechanical/electrical setup, commissioning, and preventive maintenance on client equipment.
- Diagnose complex electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic issues directly in the field.
- Interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and P&ID diagrams accurately.
- Provide clear technical support and remote troubleshooting as needed.
- 3+ years of hands-on technical service or maintenance experience in industrial automation.
- strong expertise with electrical control panels, automated systems, and mechanical assemblies.
- Proven track record with line start-ups and field troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and fluency in English.

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical and electrical service, installation, or
maintenance of industrial equipment.
• Solid knowledge of industrial automation systems, electrical panels, and mechanical
assemblies.
• Experience with start-up, commissioning, and troubleshooting of production lines.
• Availability to travel in Mexico, USA, and Canada for service and commissioning.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of an international team.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
