Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and maintain CNC machines.
- Troubleshoot FANUC CNC controls, including alarms, parameters, I/O, servo systems and communication issues.
- Diagnose and repair servo motors, servo amplifiers, drives and encoders.
- Troubleshoot CNC electrical control circuits, relays, contactors, sensors and switches.
- Troubleshoot PLCs, machine I/O and control circuits.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, hydraulic diagrams and pneumatic diagrams.
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including pumps, valves, cylinders, regulators and solenoids.
- Diagnose and repair ATC (Automatic Tool Changer) and other machine-tool mechanical systems.
- Troubleshoot machine positioning, homing, overtravel, limit switchs and axis-related problems.
- Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled inspections on CNC equipment.
- Respond quickly to machine breakdowns and minimize production downtime.
