Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods according to established specifications.
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring equipment.
- Identify defects, inconsistencies, and non-conforming products.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
- Communicate quality issues to production and management personnel.
- Assist with investigating the root cause of quality problems.
- Verify corrective actions and ensure non-conforming products are properly identified and controlled.
- Read and interpret drawings, specifications, work instructions, and inspection procedures.
- Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections as required.
- Maintain inspection equipment and ensure measuring tools are properly calibrated.
- Follow all company quality, safety, and operating procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized inspection area.
- Support continuous improvement and quality-assurance activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
