About the Role: Randstad is partnering with top manufacturing and logistics leaders in the Charlotte metro area to secure experienced CDL Class A Delivery Drivers. Qualifications:
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A) issued by the state of residence.
- Current and valid DOT Medical Card.
- Minimum 12 to 24 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major preventable accidents or serious violations within the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to comfortably pass a comprehensive background check and FMCSA clearinghouse drug screening.
- Preferred: Hazmat, Tanker, or Doubles/Triples endorsements are a strong plus for specialized logistics clients.

Responsibilities
Day-to-Day Duties:
- Safely operate commercial heavy-duty trucks (day cabs and sleepers) to transport materials and finished products to designated manufacturing facilities and distribution centers across the region.
- Perform thorough DOT pre-trip and post-trip inspections, immediately reporting any mechanical defects or maintenance needs.
- Navigate local and regional routes efficiently, adapting to traffic conditions and strict appointment windows.
- Manage electronic logging devices (ELDs) and maintain completely accurate records of hours of service (HOS), mileage, and fuel usage.
- Assist with or oversee the loading and unloading of freight (if touch-freight is required), ensuring all cargo is properly secured and weight distributed according to DOT regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery sites, communicating professionally with warehouse managers and receiving clerks.
