Key Responsibilities
- Electrical Assembly & Installation: Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and work orders to assemble, wire, and install electrical components, subassemblies, and conduit.
- Inspection & Testing: Inspect and test wiring installations, assemblies, and circuits for operational accuracy and resistance factors. Measure and adjust voltages as required.
- Troubleshooting & Repair: Identify defects, adjust, repair, or replace electrical components to ensure full compliance with engineering requirements.
- Fabrication & Tool Operation: Drill, tap, cut, and fabricate parts or structures using hand and power tools, calipers, cutters, saws, and related shop equipment.
- Operational & Safety Support: Maintain work areas according to 5S principles, follow safety practices, tag stock inventory, and assist with material distribution and packaging finished assemblies.
- Technical Knowledge: knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), OSHA standards, and NFPA 70E safety practices.
- Blueprint Reading & Assembly: Proven ability to read and interpret complex schematics, diagrams, work orders, and technical drawings.
- Hands-on Experience: Demonstrated skill in electrical component testing, troubleshooting, conduit bending, and precise tool operation.
- Education & Credentials: High School Diploma or GED required. (Active Journeyman Electrician certification or license is preferred).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform work requiring high manual dexterity in a manufacturing environment.
- General Requirements: High attention to detail, communication skills, reliable transportation, and ability to pass a pre-hire background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities
Under the general supervision of the Electrical Team Manager, the Electrician performs skilled electrical work that includes but not limited to: assembly, wiring, termination, bending conduit, troubleshooting, repair, and component installation work in support of manufacturing operations. The role reads and interprets schematics, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, and reports; ensures work conforms to customer and engineering requirements; coordinates with supervisors and engineers to resolve production issues; and supports safe, accurate, efficient completion of electrical assemblies and related production activities.
Preferred: Active Journeyman Electrician Certificate of Competency or license issued by a Florida Municipality.
