Responsibilities
- Strictly adhere to OSHA safety guidelines and internal company safety policies at all times.
- Execute advanced mechanical and electrical maintenance on packaging machinery and electrical panels.
- Complete all scheduled preventive maintenance tasks in a timely manner.
- Track and maintain accurate records of preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, project work, and spare parts usage.
- Ensure daily proper startup and shutdown of facility equipment.
- Inspect, maintain, and repair electronics, mechanical conveyors, machinery, and equipment.
- Troubleshoot equipment by observing and listening to mechanical components in operation to diagnose and fix issues.
- Maintain and troubleshoot both electrical and mechanical conveyor systems.
- Partner with management to develop and refine procedures that boost equipment reliability and maintenance efficiency.
- Keep detailed written logs of all machine adjustments.
- Provide daily hands-on guidance to Machine Operators and Mechanics on equipment operation and technical issues.
- Perform additional maintenance tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
