Responsibilities
- Build wire harnesses, wiring looms, and cable assemblies using crimping, soldering, lacing, and splicing techniques.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical blueprints, technical diagrams, and wire run lists.
- Integrate wiring with mechanical parts to build electrical panels and electro-mechanical assemblies using surface mount technology (SMT) techniques.
- Conduct continuity and resistance testing using ohmmeters and diagnostic tools. Inspect work to ensure compliance with IPC-A-610 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards.
- Diagnose and resolve wiring or component issues using engineering troubleshooting procedures.
- Maintain an organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols for electrical wiring, soldering, and machining processes.
