NOW HIRING - Full time Press Operator -
Schedule: Monday – Thursday 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay Range: $22.00 – $24.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Blueprint & Specification Interpretation: Read, analyze, and interpret customer drawings, measurements, blueprints, and tight tolerances to ensure accurate press setup and execution.
- Press Operation & Adjustments: Adjust gear ratios, re-registration, and other press controls to optimize performance and ensure high-quality output.
- Quality Control & Inspection: Inspect finished products for defects, pull sub-standard items off the production line, and verify dimensions using rulers and precision measuring tools.
- Data Tracking & Record Keeping: Accurately track time and materials used at the press by entering data into the job costing module; complete and maintain clear traceability records.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance on press equipment to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
- Safety & Continuous Improvement: Maintain strict adherence to all safe work practices and active participation in continuous improvement initiatives within the plant.
