Responsibilities
- Job Planning & Preparation: Review work requests, define work scopes, detail step-by-step task instructions, estimate labor hours, and identify required tools, safety precautions, and materials.
- Scheduling & Coordination: Build daily and weekly maintenance schedules in coordination with production teams to maximize equipment uptime and minimize production disruptions.
- Parts & Materials Management: Order, track, and stage necessary spare parts and materials prior to scheduled maintenance tasks; collaborate with inventory/storeroom teams.
- CMMS Management: Maintain and manage the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to log work orders, update equipment history, track preventive maintenance schedules, and generate reliability reports.
- Shutdown & Turnaround Planning: Lead the planning and execution of scheduled facility shutdowns, overhaul projects, and major equipment overhauls.
- Continuous Improvement: Analyze equipment failure trends, maintenance metrics (MTBF, MTTR, PM compliance), and workflow bottlenecks to recommend process and reliability improvements.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure all planned work complies with plant safety standards, OSHA guidelines, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols, and environmental regulations.
