- Oversee Technical Documentation: Maintain accurate Mold Specifications, Bills of Materials (BOMs), item codes, and revision records.
- Conduct Testing & Inspection: Perform comprehensive container evaluations (top load, wall thickness, drop tests) and utilize 3D scanning technology for design validation.
- Support Trials & Inventory: Schedule and track pilot/production mold trials, record molding parameters, and manage spare parts inventory.
- Collaborate Globally: Serve as a technical liaison between internal sales teams, manufacturing facilities, global offices, and external clients.
- CAD Expertise: strong proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD drafting for complex mechanical or mold components.
- Technical Blueprint Reading: Proven ability to translate customer specs, 3D models, and physical samples into actionable drawings.
- Hands-on Testing & Inspection: Experience using physical testing equipment and 3D scanners for quality assurance and design checks.
- Analytical Mindset: Skilled in evaluating design feasibility, including cycle time, cavitation, and component sharing.
- Strong Communication: Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional and international teams.
