Responsibilities
Daily Impact & Key Responsibilities
- Receive, sort, scan, process, and distribute high volumes of incoming and outgoing postal mail, letters, and parcel deliveries
- Operate and perform routine maintenance on specialized mailroom machinery, including postage meters, barcode scanners, folding/inserting machines, and copy/print equipment
- Execute scheduled mail and package delivery routes across medical center buildings and facility grounds.
- Assist internal staff, students, and patients with package tracking inquiries, postage calculations, and shipping protocols.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Proficient computer navigation and typing skills.
- Experience in a mailroom or similar environment handling mail and packages.
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Pay rate: $20-$21/hr.
- Contract to Hire
- No weekends and no on-call responsibilities required
- Business casual, with jeans permitted
