We are currently hiring for a Material Handler in Hicksville. Who is responsible for moving, staging, stocking, and verifying raw ingredients, packaging supplies, and finished food items throughout our facility. You will ensure materials are transported safely while strictly adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Food Safety standards (such as FIFO/inventory rotation). Responsibilities

• unload incoming shipments of raw food ingredients, dry goods, and packaging supplies.
  
  
• Operate warehouse equipment, including sit-down/stand-up forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and manual hand trucks.
  
  
• Stage ingredients and packaging supplies on the production floor according to daily production schedules.
  
  
• Transport finished goods from production lines to cold storage, freezer, or ambient shipping holding areas.
  
  
• Follow First-In, First-Out (FIFO) procedures and inspect all incoming lots for damage, pest contamination, or temperature compliance.
  
  
• Accurately track inventory using RF barcode scanners and warehouse management system (WMS) logs.
  
  
• Maintain clean and sanitized staging areas in accordance with FDA, SQF/BRC, and standard food safety regulations.
  
  
• Follow all company safety procedures, including OSHA guidelines and PPE requirements.
