Chemical company is looking for a hands-on leader to drive safety, quality, and daily operations at their Burlington facility.
The Role
- Lead production, warehousing, and maintenance teams.
- Ensure world-class safety, ISO standards, and operational efficiency.
- Optimize batch chemical manufacturing processes and on-time fulfillment.
- BS in Chemical Engineering, Engineering, or Chemistry.
- 5+ years managing in a chemical manufacturing environment.
- Solid background in Process Safety Management (PSM) and batch processing.

Responsibilities
• Manage Plant Manufacturing processes and Shipping/ Warehouse processes to ensure consistent manufacturing of first quality product as well as effective, efficient execution of the daily Shipping and Receiving schedules in a safe work environment.
• Ensure that all production and warehouse employees strive to meet the standards set forth by the company for Safety, Quality, Efficiency and Housekeeping.
• Hire and provide consistent training for employees and manage personnel issues relating to attendance, vacation scheduling, and disciplinary action.
• Properly staff all departments within the function’s scope of responsibility to efficiently meet Production and Shipping/ Receiving schedule requirements.
• Facilitate continuous improvement activities in the production and warehouse operations.
• Lead the Shift Supervisors, Maintenance and Warehouse Managers.
• Coordinate Production and Shipping/ Receiving schedules with the Supply Chain team to ensure customer orders are met on time and in quality.
• Coordinate required service times with Maintenance to maintain all equipment at a safe and optimum performance. Establish & maintain all preventive maintenance.
• Collaborate with R & D and Quality Control Manager in identifying quality issues and conduct root cause analysis.
