Key Responsibilities
- Tool Issuance & Tracking: Issue and check in tooling, gauges, and consumables using barcode scanners, tracking software, or sign-out sheets.
- Tool Assembly & Pre-Setting: Assemble cutting tools to blueprint specs and measure tool length and diameter using pre-setters.
- Kitting & Setup: Stage tooling and job kits ahead of shifts to support rapid machine changeovers.
- Inspection & Maintenance: Inspect returned tools and inserts for wear, damage, or defect before restocking.
- Inventory & Auditing: Conduct periodic physical audits, cycle counts, and monitor stock levels to order replacements and avoid shortages.
- Crib Organization & Security: Keep storage areas secure, clean, and organized for fast retrieval of tools and motor equipment.
