We are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Technical Machine Operator to set up and run our form, fill, and seal retail packaging equipment. In this role, you will be responsible for meeting daily production targets, conducting quality and seal integrity checks, maintaining strict food safety standards (GMPs), and performing routine mechanical troubleshooting. The ideal candidate brings equipment operation experience, takes pride in producing high-quality packaged goods, and can effectively lead and train packaging line personnel.

Responsibilities

Shift: 12:00 AM - 7:00 AM Monday - Thursday, 12:00 AM - 9:45 AM Friday

Training: 1st or 2nd shift

Pay: $21.40

Duties:

• Packaging Machine Setup & Operation: Set up, calibrate, and operate form, fill, and seal packaging equipment in accordance with production schedules and product specification sheets.
• Quality Assurance & Inspection: Inspect packaged products to verify correct film, fill weights, case weights, seal integrity, and proper carton/bag printing and labeling.
• Food Safety & Compliance: Maintain thorough understanding of ATP testing, sanitation procedures, safety standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) to complete required QA/QC checks and documentation.
• Material Handling & Line Maintenance: Stage raw packaging materials (film rolls, cartons, labels), handle minor electrical/mechanical/pneumatic machine troubleshooting, and safely move finished pallets to staging areas.
• Team Leadership & Reporting: Direct, assign, and train packaging line personnel while accurately tracking and reporting daily production output and equipment downtime.
