Responsibilities

• Sign off bill of lading (BOL), cross-check packing list, pick, put away, work on material handling equipment, cross-check vendor accuracy, check for damaged cargo during loading/unloading, and label cargo.
• Fill client orders safely, efficiently, and within standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Ensure distribution activities are conducted in accordance with internal quality standards while maintaining a safe work environment.
• Read and follow work orders and instructions to ascertain materials or container loads to be moved.
• Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand, forklift, or other warehouse equipment.
• Load materials into vehicles and install strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
• Count, weigh, and record the number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheets.
• Attach identifying tags or labels to materials.
• Scan freight via the warehouse management system with RF equipment.
• Complete required paperwork thoroughly and promptly.
• Perform housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe work environment.
• Accurately and courteously load client merchandise.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
