Maximize your production efficiency as a cnc operator / cnc machine operator! This role is ideal for those who excel at rapid part cycling and maintaining consistent quality throughout large production runs. Join our team for reliable scheduling, high earning potential, and an immediate start.
Your responsibilities:
- Machine loading: efficiently load raw materials and castings into the cnc machine chuck or fixture, ensuring proper clamping and alignment.
- Production operation: run high-volume production cycles on cnc lathes or horizontal machining centers, focusing on throughput and cycle time optimization.
- Tool wear management: proactively monitor tool wear compensation and manage tool life to maintain surface finish and dimensional accuracy across the batch.
- Quality checks: routinely check parts against established control plans, using specialized gauges and measuring tools to prevent defects.
- Material handling: safely handle and move heavy parts or material stock into and out of the cnc machine work envelope.
