The Family Practice Physician provides comprehensive primary and urgent medical care in support of healthcare operations. The physician delivers patient-centered, evidence-based clinical
services across the lifespan in accordance with contract requirements, clinical privileges, and applicable U.S. and host nation regulations. The position requires independent clinical judgment, participation in
quality assurance activities, and readiness to operate in austere or contingency environments.
In addition to base salary -Leave allowance and Household storage allowance are part of the pacakge
***One year renewable contract***
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive primary care services, including preventive, acute, and chronic
disease management.
- Conduct patient evaluations, medical histories, physical examinations, diagnosis, and
treatment planning.
- Prescribe medications, order diagnostic tests, and perform procedures within the scope
of granted clinical privileges.
- Provide urgent and emergent medical care, including stabilization and coordination of
medical evacuation when required.
- Document all patients encounters accurately and in a timely manner in approved
medical record systems.
- Participate in quality assurance, peer review, and performance improvement activities.
- Ensure compliance with infection control, patient safety, and risk management
standards.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including specialty consultants and ancillary staff.
- Support operational readiness and continuity of care in deployed or remote
environments.

Education
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from a medical school in
the United States or Canada accredited by a recognized accrediting body at the time of
graduation; or
- MD or equivalent degree from a foreign medical school with education substantially
equivalent to U.S. accredited schools, as demonstrated by:
- Permanent certification by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical
Graduates (ECFMG); or
- A Fifth Pathway Certificate for U.S. citizens who completed premedical education in the
United States and graduate medical education abroad.
Licensure / Registration
- Current, valid, examination-based, and unrestricted license to practice medicine issued by
the recognized licensing authority of:
- Any U.S. state
- District of Columbia
- Commonwealth of Puerto Rico
- Guam
- U.S. Virgin Islands
The license must be:
- Current (not revoked, suspended, or lapsed)
- Valid (issuing authority considers quality assurance information, including professional
performance and conduct)
- Unrestricted (no limitations on scope, location, or type of practice beyond those normally
granted)
Certification
- Current Board Certification in Family Practice / Family Medicine issued by an
appropriate American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) member board or American
Osteopathic Association (AOA) recognized board.
Experience
- A minimum of one (1) year of supervised clinical experience providing direct patient
care after completion of an MD or DO degree, to include:
- A one-year internship; or
- The first year of an accredited residency program.
Life Support Training
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification obtained through:
- American Heart Association (AHA); and/or
- American Red Cross
Certification must be maintained in a status for the duration of contract performance.
