responsibilities:
- In this role, you'll be the linchpin for all material master data, ensuring its accuracy, consistency, and governance within the organization's ERP system. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Data Stewardship: Serve as the primary point of contact for all material master data inquiries, creating and maintaining accurate and standardized data across systems.
- Data Governance & Quality: Implement and uphold robust data standards, ownership, and replication policies. You'll conduct regular audits to identify and eliminate outdated, unused, or duplicate data, proactively identifying opportunities for process and tool improvements.
- Problem Resolution & Collaboration: Troubleshoot and resolve complex material master data issues in partnership with IT and various business teams. You'll collaborate cross-functionally to validate and execute changes to materials and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Strategic Support: Provide critical data insights and process expertise to support ERP-related projects and initiatives, applying business rules and best practices to all material data requests.
- Training & Mentorship: Train team members and stakeholders on material master data policies, tools, and procedures, fostering a culture of data excellence.
qualifications:
- Educational Foundation: An Associate degree in Business, Supply Chain, Data Management, or Information Technology is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Relevant Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in Supply Chain, Data Management, or Information Technology, with hands-on experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), ideally in a regulated environment.
