The Department is seeking an Applications Development Analyst professional with the following minimum qualifications (these qualifications must be clearly stated on the resume and verifiable via reference checks):
- Five years of IT and business work experience including managing teams in systems analysis and/or programming.
- Experience in working in System/Software Development Life cycle methodologies.
- Senior level skills and experience with Microsoft's .NET Framework.
- Senior level skills and experience with C# software development.
- Senior level skills and experience with Microsoft's Azure DevOps.
- Senior level skills and experience with object-oriented design and development.
- Senior level skills and experience with Microsoft's Visual Studio 2017 or later.
- Senior level skills and experience with database design principles and best practices using Microsoft's SQL Server 2016 or later.
- Senior level skills and experience with developing SQL reports in Microsoft's Reporting Services.
- Experienced time manager who estimates levels of effort and meets or beats all prescribed deadlines.
- Experience working on one or more projects as a project team member and providing current updates to the Project Manager.
- Experience documenting all project related material and building a knowledge base in each specific business area.
- Experience with performing daily operational support on larger, functionally rich Web applications.
- Work with K-12 applications preferred Experience with building systems for Medicaid billing preferred.
- The Applications Development Analyst key deliverables include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Responsible for assisting in the collection of technical and functional requirements.
- Responsible for assisting with the development of use cases.
- Responsible for creating application customization based on customer needs.
- Responsible for being the technical Subject Matter Expert in the application design, development and implementation of enhancements to the existing PEER and MTS 3.0 applications.
- Responsible for developing ASP.NET applications.
- Responsible for performing code reviews and unit testing, as well as participating in post deployment activities.
- Working on one or more projects as a project team member and providing current updates to the Project Manager.
- Documenting all project related material and building a knowledge base in each specific business area.
- Providing monthly status reports.
