JOB DESCRIPTION
Seeking a highly motivated integration professional with extensive knowledge of IBM's Sterling Integrator, EDI, and managed file transmission systems. Candidates should have between 7 and 10 years of IT experience and have worked in a team environment on enterprise-grade production systems.
The candidate must be committed to exemplary customer service, and possess excellent project management, technical writing, and oral communication skills. This individual must demonstrate the ability to exercise independent judgment, represent the organization in dealings with customers and vendors, and render sound business decisions. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required. A bachelor's degree in Information Technology is preferred.
Assignment:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the EDI Support Team, providing coordination and oversight in support of the Retail Choice system modernization project.
- Responsible for testing system enhancements, identifying and resolving technical issues, and ensuring the stability of ongoing operations.
- Represent the team effectively in cross-functional status meetings.
- Serve as a liaison between the enhancement project and the broader team, ensuring timely and accurate communication of key updates, risks, and decisions.
- Implement and maintain file transmissions both internally and externally using various protocols, working extensively with users and vendors.
- Design, configure, and maintain business processes within Sterling Integrator.
- Design and develop scripts in Sterling Integrator, Linux and SQL for reporting and monitoring of file transmissions.
- Document procedures for troubleshooting and day-to-day activities. Document requirements, design and development artifacts as part of SDLC.
- Provide third level problem diagnosis and resolution for file transmission issues as well as system issues.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Must Have
- ability to write scripts in SQL
- at least five years' experience administering and engineering distributed system environments (RedHat Linux and Windows) for redundancy, resiliency, and optimized performance
- at least five years' experience in IBM Sterling Integrator administration, business process development and installation, including BPML and SSP
