responsibilities:
- Extensive experience working with extremely large Excel files:
- Expertise with Excel data lookups, tables, and complex, nested formulas.
- Quality assurance for data and format-intensive client reports and dashboards.
- Compare data, charts, and formatting of report pages and dashboards with source documents, ensure data matches and there are no errors. Source documents include business requirements documents, spreadsheets, prior year's reports, and mockups.
qualifications:
- Locate, document, and clearly report errors.
- Manage the QA process with the vendor. Experience with Jira a plus.
- Lead and document processes, collaborate with team members to identify and research issues, share updates, and gain a consensus on next steps.
- Review and update business requirements documents.
- Maintain logs of activities and completed work.
- Help manage the benchmarking mailbox.
- Study internal documents to learn how best to respond to emails and leverage templated responses.
- Research questions from internal partners and clients, identify solutions, and respond within 1 or 2 days.
- Provide courteous, professional, clearly written emails and help resolve the question/issue quickly.
- Reach out to team members as needed for input on how to respond.
- Support data validation.
- Help validate calculations executed by data analytics team are accurate.
- Identify processes to validate calculations and where more validation might be needed.
- Run Excel reports and data comparisons, for example comparing data in multiple files.
- Leverage Excel to manually calculate results as part of data validation.
- Validate results of daily participation report and post file internally for benchmarking partners.
- Maintain and update control files based on updated business requirements
