We are seeking a Records Management Specialist to support the implementation and management of all aspects of document control and records management throughout the full information lifecycle for both physical and electronic records. responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the Records Room, ensuring timely and accurate file handling.
- Maintain records management systems, including Interwoven File Creation, RFID File Tagging, Programming, Retrieval, and Re-Shelving.
- Manage and update databases to ensure accurate documentation and storage of records.
- Identify and troubleshoot potential issues, recommending process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, regulatory requirements, and records management best practices.
- Coordinate with departments on record creation, revisions, reviews, retrieval, and archiving.
- Generate records management reports as required.
- Assist in training and orienting staff on records management procedures.
- Perform photocopying, faxing, scanning, and other administrative duties as assigned
qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a professional office setting, preferably in a file or records clerk role.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with tact and professionalism.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Customer service mindset and enthusiasm.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs regularly and perform physical activities such as standing, bending, and stretching

- Proficiency in records management systems (experience with Interwoven and RFID tagging a plus).
